Hey guys! So today I purchased an amazing dupe for Revlon’s highlighting pallete😍 It is… Seventeen’s gold bronze shimmer brick and it is to die for ❤️

 
It is just stunning!  This beautiful product contains four different shades that can be used separately or swirled together for a beautiful glow, swept over the cheeks this gives you the most beautiful highlighted glow. You can also use these colours as eyeshadows which works lovely, the pigmentation is amazing and they contain just the right amount of shimmer. It is available in two shades, pink bronze and gold bronze. I purchased gold bronze and I already can’t wait to get my hands on the shade pink bronze because when this costs just €6.25 you really can’t go wrong.

MAC Twig lipstick<3

Hey guys!!

It has been ages since i have been on here! I apologize but college has just been cray and my exams are coming up so I have been quiet busy. I am in a procrastination mood so I have decided to blog during this time😊

Today i am blogging about the gorgeous MAC Twig lipstick from the satin range.

MAC Twig is described by MAC as a soft muted brownish pink. It is a beautiful pink with brown tones. It is one of those easy shades that can be worn just about anywhere and will add some freshness to your face without looking too obvious. This colour will suit a wide spectrum of skin tones – fair to dusky, all can pick it up without fear. It would look darker on fair skin tones, though. On medium to dusky ones MAC Twig is a lovely everyday colour.

The satin finish goes almost matte on lips, just with a slight sheen. It glides on easily (though I wouldn’t really call it creamy). The famous MAC vanilla fragrance is there, smells so good,  although you can’t really smell it unless you sniff the tube directly.

The pigmentation is amazing and it goes on almost opaque in one light swipe. It does tend to feel dry after some time so if you have dry lips keep a lip balm at hand. I noticed some settling into lip lines as well. It will emphasize any dry and flaky skin on lips as well. However MAC Twig makes up for any flaws in the texture in its staying power – five hours straight, and more if you haven’t eaten in between. I like lipsticks that stay on for a long time so this really earns a lot of brownie points from me. It would have been perfect, though, if it left some tint or stain behind after fading.

Here as some swatches side by side, one is taken in the natural light and the other picture is with the flash on.

I would definitely recommend this lipstick. The shade Twig is gorgeous and will suit everyone, and the staying power and pigmentation leave no room for complaints either. Just make sure to prep your lips a little if you have dry lips and keep a lip balm with you. If you don’t mind the drying part, go for it!

Parfois Perection<3

Hey girls! Today my boyfriend decided to treat me to a new watch as I just got a new job. He bought me a watch from Parfois. It is so beautiful, I have had my eye on it for awhile<3 What do you think?

The vibrant baby blue dial pops against the beautiful gold. It is absolutely stunning. It really stood out to me in the shop, I just absolutely love it.  It is so elegant I think.

I really love how the signature is on the push clasp at the back, so cute<3

This watch really reminds me of the Runway Rose Gold-Tone Watch by Michael Kors, I think that is why i fell in love with it;) These two watches are very similar as you can see in the pictures below but I got my one for such a steal. My watch from Parfois was 32.99 euro and the Michael Kors watch is selling at $250.00! I mean what a steal and the Parfois watch is just as beautiful.

Rimmel Apocalips; Review and Swatches<3

Today I have decided to blog about the Rimmel Apocalips lipgosses, a personal fave of mine<3 I know they have been around awhile now but I just love them so much!

They are creamy, impresssively pigmented and go on nice and smoothly. What’s not to love?

The finish is not glossy but it does have a sheen,satin probably comes closest to describing it and they’re so comfortable to wear. They also claim to be longwearing and while I probably wouldn’t go that far, they last a decent length of time and much, much longer than a gloss. There’s no annoying stickiness, but they do transfer quite quickly.

There are eight shades in total. These include:

• Celestial – dusky mauve toned pink.
• Galaxy – a mid toned plum.
• Apocaliptic – fuchsia pink.
• Big Bang – true red.
• Nude Eclipse – a beige toned nude.
• Nova –  creamy medium pink.
• Stellar – bright, punchy pinkish red.
• Luna – creamy, peachy tangerine.

I would rate these 4/5, I love everything about the consistency, my only let down was how easily they transfer but I would definitely recommend ladies and are selling for a great price at €7.95.

MAC Girl About Town💄

Hello everyone! It’s been a long time since I have been on here as college has been crazy but…I am finally back😊 So today I’m blogging about my favourite lipstick right now , Girl About Town by MAC💗

This is a beautiful, high quality lipstick that plays well with a lot of different skintones. It’s opaque, so comfortable to wear and the wearing is very good.

What I love about this lipstick is it is very creamy but isn’t prone to smudging and leaving a stain👏

I feel like this lipstick is more of a resberry colour in some lights however it is still cool toned enough that it can get away with being a hot pink in most lights.

If you’re looking for a bright pink lipstick that will make you pop then this is the one for you💋 it’s a 10/10 in my eyes ladies.

no7 instant radiance beauty balm<3

If you are looking for the perfect radiance balm – a lotion you put on your face right before your foundation that offers that radiant looking skin –  then I have the answer for you!!

I love this rapid radiance balm from No 7. It’s a true multi-tasker. Applied alone (after moisturiser) it will give skin a reflective sheen that isn’t at all shimmery or artificial looking. The orange-pink hue also helps to banish blueness and the generally drab appearance of tired skin. Mixed with foundation, it gives you an instantly radiant base. It’ll also do this if applied before foundation.

I like dabbing it along the cheekbones, cupid’s bow, browbones and bridge of the nose as a beautiful but subtle highlight. It would also make a summer tan look incredible when applied as a highlighter to face, collar bones and shoulders.

The no7 Instant Radiance Balm is a fabulous cream that gives your skin that lift and glow it needs when your skin is feeling tired or stressed. I honestly don’t know how I’ve applied my makeup before without it.

A couple of months ago I was finding that my skin was a little tired looking and I needed a quick fix to get it back to its glowy self.

This little miracle pot is a total pick me up for tired looking skin and what I love the most about this balm is the really light, thin consistency so it doesn’t feel heavy on the face… yet it leaves your skin glowing! Perfect

Overall, an excellent pick if you like products like Clarins Flash Balm or MAC Strobe Cream. If you’re skin is looking for that extra bit of glow this will produce it without looking too sparkly or shimmery.

It is available at any Boots store at 22 euro. It is quite costly but will defo last a long time!

Sleek Precious Metals Highlighting Kit <3

So last week I went on a beauty haul and I purchased Sleek’s Precious Metals Highlighting Kit. I am a big fan of Sleek as some of ye know so when
I seen this I just had to buy it! I am so glad I purchased it because it is amazing:)

The Sleek Precious Metals Highlighting Palette contains four highlighters: three of which are cream whilst the other is powder. The three cream shades vary in tone- going from a pearly champagne colour to two more slight golden shades- whilst the powder highlighter is a little more on the bronze side. There are shades in there to suit all skin tones. One of the reasons I love Sleek as a brand is that they always think of us girls with a little bit of colour. Well a lot of colour in my case. The metallic and shimmery finishes of the highlighters help add a radiant glow to your skin. If you have ever used any of the other Sleek highlighters, including the one in the Contour Kit, you will know that whilst they are incredibly good at attracting light to your face they do not make you look like a disco ball. That is again the case with these. The Sleek Precious Metals Highlighting Palette has the versatility factor going on as you can use it on your face and on your body.

When brands try to pack a lot into one palette it can easily go wrong but with the Sleek Precious Metals Highlighting Palette it all just falls into place seamlessly. Almost like the highlighters when they are on your face. In terms of application, I find that applying with my fingers gives me the best natural finish. If I want something a little more in your face and precise, a small brush allows me to get into the areas I want, especially the inner corner of my eyes and brow bone. The cream formulas blend so easily onto the skin and do feel quite velvety. I sometimes like to “set” the cream highlighter of choice with the powder shade to make sure it lasts as long as possible. And as if all that wasn’t enough, the packaging is just ideal with the gold casing having a magnetic closing and a handy little brush inside!

I honestly think it was a great buy at 12.99 euro in Boots. Totally worth it and right now it is buy one Sleek cosmetic and get the 2nd half price:) Why don’t you get your hands on it ladies;)

BonBon – Viktor & Rolf<3

This little baby is my first Viktor & Rolf fragrance that I have on my perfume shelf and has taken a front middle display as I am very in love. I have heard so many things about the Viktor & Rolf fragrances so of course i decided to blog about it & share my thoughts with you on this product<3

Talking about perfume is always tricky – it’s such a personal thing.

No matter which fragrance you choose, it will always get a mixed reaction overall. Scent is deeply personal, emotional, and we wear it to say something about ourselves as well as for pleasure.

BonBon is a really interesting fragrance. When it’s first sprayed on the skin, you get a rush of sweet caramel, which is the key-note. This tones down quickly to let the subtler notes of mandarin, orange and peach through. There’s also orange blossom and jasmine to provide depth and the floral note that we now associate with the brand. Base notes of cedar, sandalwood, guaiac wood and amber give the fragrance a heady scent and very slight sharpness that are really pleasing and contrast they key note’s sweetness.

The bottle is very unique with the bow, which stands beautifully. Bonbon’s glass bottle is wrapped in a luxurious, raspberry-toned box imprinted with the scent’s black bow and Viktor & Rolf’s signature seal.

You often don’t think about anything more than just the fragrance itself and after reading into how BonBon was made just makes me appreciate a good designed perfume bottle that much more. BonBon was handcrafted and is injected with air to form the wings and folds of the bow – this bottle took a year to get together! Can you believe that? It’s just phenomenal and their work has really shown in my eyes.

Overall, this fragrance manages to do what Flowerbomb did, which is to make you feel both playful, youthful and sophisticated all at once. I’d call that a success. If you liked Flowerbomb, you’ll probably like this. If, however, sweet scents aren’t to your taste, Viktor & Rolf fragrances probably aren’t for you
